WM City of Emeryville
The City of Emeryville has partnered with Waste Management of Alameda County to provide free recycling of household light bulbs and household batteries using LampTracker and Battery Tracker mail-back products. This will enable multi-family residents to safely recycle these items. All orders must be placed by the property manager/owner/designated account holder.
- Person placing the order is responsible for communicating instructions to residents including the location of the battery bucket (such as a lobby or laundry room) and for monitoring and returning the battery buckets and/or the LampTracker products.
- Battery buckets and LampTracker products should not be left outside and should not be placed in a trash containers or trash enclosures.
- Battery buckets should be placed in an indoor central location accessible to residents such as a lobby, fitness center, community room or laundry room.
